Accompanying Emmy Award nominee Snatam Kaur for her Asian Tour in 2006 and representing Singapore in the UIA World Congress of Architecture in Italy in 2008, Kamal Bensra gave music a passionate deliverance.
In addition, Bensra was featured in The Straits Times dated 26 July 2013 for his development, originality, and music augmentation. Bensra is also the first person to have ever appeared on national television in both 2010 & 2011 for pioneering and giving a cajòn workshop in Singapore, interweaving his name eternally in the annals of history. Having been cordially invited by Yamaha Music School (YMS), Bènsra shared his unique skills and techniques at the premises of YMS in December 2010.
In addition to performing, Bensra regularly conducts courses/workshops for organisations and entities. He has conducted courses and workshops for Yamaha Music School, Serangoon Gardens Country Club, Serangoon Secondary School, and more.
Bensra is also a brilliant composer. He composes music for his present 2-man percussion band, Percoject, which performed at Sentosa for the 2010 Countdown.
